Li'l Han Solo's Gun Belt by AntVar
Li'l Han Solo's Gun Belt
Here's part two of the Halloween costume for my two and a half year old nephew, with my Mark II blaster.

It started with a kids belt from a thrift store. I used craft foam for all the "leather" parts and paper brads for the rivets/buttons. I cut and shaped the buckles out of 1/16" aluminum. The droid caller was made from pvc parts and more craft foam.

The blaster was my second attempt and came out a little nicer looking. It's made from a scrap piece of MDF, craft foam and a couple pieces of pvc fittings.

My Haunted Mansion Home Theater 2 by AntVar
My Haunted Mansion Home Theater 2
Inspired by the stretching portrait gallery and the changing portrait hallway from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.
The "wood" panels are actually medium density fiber boards faux finished and stained to look like wood.
In the corners are two cabinets that contain the electronic components and video games.
The red curtains are on a remote controlled curtain rod.
The striped part of the walls are fabric panels we made instead of wall paper.
LED rope light was run around the room inside the crown molding along with the wiring for the four gargoyles in the corners.
Finally the ceiling is painted styrofoam tiles.
